Description

This is the uppermost part of Rattlesnale ridge, and is an actual ridge traverse on higher ground above the rest of the trail. This ridge will actually take you all the way from the the Upper Cliffbreak all the way to the connecting mountain that can be seen in the distance. This route involves a lot of scrambling. Nothing too dangerous, but it's not just a simple hike on a flat trail. I definitely recommend wearing trail runners or boots, at least something with good traction.

Traversed the ridge proper, staying on rock the entire time for a more technical traverse. Found a line down to Diamondback Trail from Ridge. 1.6mi — 0h 48m
