Description

This is a very short loop, nearly an out-and-back through bristlecone pines, though they lack the drama of the ancient ones that cling to the nearly barren White Mountains east of Bishop, California. The far end of the loop reaches a wooden platform with a good view to the south. It was closed during my visit, but it looked like the repairs would be completed soon.
