Trail is clear from Separation Lake Trailhead to Buck Meadow with flagging in burned areas. New signage at the trail intersections. After Buck Meadow Trail intersection, the 2017 Separation Creek burn is catastrophic and trail becomes hard to follow with burned trees and bark peel covering the faint trail. Beware of root balls that have burned leaving deep holes hidden by soil that does not hold your weight.
