The trailhead is across hwy 19 from Carr's store near the foot bridge. There's a parking area just north of the store/canoe rental. From there it is a short hike from there to the trailhead, which is marked with an Ozark Trail marker. The trail is blazed in red (or red-orange). You can follow the blazes for a loop or turn onto the Ozark Trail. Also nearby are Round Spring and Echo Bluff State Park.
