Description

The best access to La Sal Pass Road is from UT46 and Two Mile Road. There is one drive-through stream crossing about 2.5 miles from Two Mile Road.

La Sal Pass Road provides access to many beautiful trails along the route including Doe Canyon Trail, Pole Canyon Trail, Utah Trust Lands Singletrack, Burlfriends Trail #88, and Terracesto Trail. The maintained portion of the road comes to an end at the top of La Sal Pass. From La Sal Pass, you can also climb Mt. Tukuhnikivatz and Mt. Peale.

There are expansive views of western Colorado including the San Juan Mountains and Sinbad Valley.

There is access from County Rd 128 at Pack Creek Campground. This portion of the road is very rocky and not maintained.

Flora & Fauna

There are deer, elk, and black bear in the area. Wildflowers, aspen, and pine trees line the road.
