A nice little trail that is a little bit of a step up from Stony Brook Trail, but nothing too difficult.

Reeves Meadow parking lot is open year round but the Info Center is closed (along with the bathrooms and vending machines) during the winter, so plan accordingly.

Description

Reeve's Brook Trail is a nice little trail, though this one is not really long enough to do by itself unless you want to slowly progress to the hillier trails of Harriman. There are still a good amount of hills to keep your blood flowing, but nothing that should wind you that much. The trailhead is just steps away from the Reeves Meadow info center which has a small parking lot that fills up very fast in the warmer months. There is additional parking along the road and another lot a little further up Seven Lakes Drive. The trail connects from Pine Meadow Trail, passes a junction with the Seven Hills Trail, and ends at Raccoon Brook Hills Trail, giving hikers a variety of options for longer or shorter hikes.

Flora & Fauna

Good amount of birds and on a rare occasion a rat snake or timber rattler.
