“A short, fun trail section with some short climbs and descents.
”
Beaver Trail is typically accessed via the Anadarche Spur trail. Along its length, the trail passes the Beaver Lookout Trail and Beaver Spur to connect back to the Anadarche Trail just before the large wooden bridge. The yellow carsonite signs located throughout Lake Murray State Park trails with arrows indicating "Big Loop" will point the way to the Beaver Lookout Trail.
Beaver Trail has a few short climbs that are rewarded with fun descents. This section does not have many large rocks, but there are a few sections with some smaller rocks where you'll want to watch your footing. The trail is more narrow than the Anadarche Trail, which adds to the fun.
This is a multi-use trail so be courteous to other users.
