“A trail that starts and ends hiking over the dam wall with views north from the top and Reynolds Creek at halfway.
”
The hike starts at Moogerah Dam and heads steadily uphill from there. About 1 kilometer in, there is a nice viewing spot on some rock ledges, then it is back to going uphill until you get to the peak. The national park says to allow 3.5 hours, but the hike can be done in less for those who hike hills often. There are toilets and bbq places at the start/end. You can also stop by bakeries in either Aratula or Kalbar on the way in from Brisbane for food.
