Description

A lengthy climbing trail that passes by its namesake peak and ends on the eastern bank of Sanders Lake in the northern region of the Rattlesnake Wilderness. There are multiple offshoot trails from this path, creating a plethora of options for backpacking routes and lakeside campsites. The trail is generally smooth with only a handful of notably steep sections. Watch for other hikers and horses coming up, as well as mountain bikers coming down.
