Description

This multi-use path is great for a casual afternoon hike with your friends and family. A car-free path, with only one major intersection to cross, it's short but a good start. There are plans to lengthen the trail in the future.

The portion that crosses Purcell Park is excellent. There are multiple bridge crossings, a pond, and a playground where you can stop and add to your fun.

The JMU portion circles their campus lake with a large water fountain.
