Need to Know

This trail is lightly used, and the trestle is not open yet—hopefully by the fall of 2020.

There's parking off East Line Road.

Description

The Rivergate Trail, also called the Sissy Danforth Rivergate Trail, stretches from Clayton to Acheson's Crossing at State Route 11 in Philadelphia, New York. A second spur runs north from Theresa to Redwood.

The trail follows the former Penn Central Railroad corridor, traveling through pastoral farmland and beautiful hardwood forests.
