This trail was conceived and constructed by mountain bikers. It is popular with trail runners (both UNC and local High School Cross Country teams practice here) but the bikers fly through and blind curves can be dangerous. Please be on alert and give way.

Description

This trail is probably the most confusing and braided of the trails at Carolina North. From the OWASA Corridor, look to your right as you're going upstream just past the big bridge that Tripp Farm uses to cross the stream. The exit and entrance are there.

Go uphill and at the first intersection take a left. Continue on and then cut straight through at the next intersection which is the broader Maytag trail. Cutting through some tight pine forest, you come to another intersection where you turn left again. Soon, the trail turns back around and continues rolling back and forth just uphill from the OWASA Corridor until it finally meets back at the beginning.
