Overview

This route covers a well-maintained trail system outside of Mt. Holly, NJ. This route is a 5K loop that features grass fields, singletrack, doubletrack, and some gravel roads. The route crosses a beautiful lake on a built bridge structure.

Description

Historic Smithville Park has 4.4 miles of well-marked trails. Trails are dual use for pedestrian and bikes, so you'll want to keep an eye or an ear out for other trail users. This hiking route includes parts of the Red Trail, Orange Trail, Blue Trail, and Green Trail.

Along the way, visitors will experience a mixture of open fields, rooty singletrack, and gravel doubletrack. There is a section where visitors will have to navigate across a bridge over the pond. The trail conditions are very good and the park is well maintained.
