Family Friendly Easy-to-follow trail.

None that I know of.

Need to Know

Very little shade after the first mile. Also rocky terrain in the beginning. Be mindful that there are very few trail posts but they are there.

Description

From the trailhead, look for the well-maintained trail that veers to the right and starts a switch-back ascent. Keep on designated trail. You may encounter roots and rocks to hike over. Keep to the right when you come to an open area within the first 0.3 miles, there will be a post with an arrow there. Continue on maintained trail until fire road.

Once you reach the fire road at 0.8 miles, continue till the rock wall with a view. Keep on fire road. Do not turn left when a second fire road connects. Keep on main road that you are on. You'll be on this road for the next 4.0 miles. This road takes you up to the peak marker which is located in the rocks. Once you've reached the buildings with a gate around it and tall satellite tower, you have made it.

Clear day with nice views of the area, though the trail itself (mainly a fire road) isn't the most scenic.
