Description

Use the dirt parking lot outside the fence at the Lake Higgins Marina. The trail is gently rolling and rooty in some sections. The trail runs close to the western shore of Lake Higgins and crosses Carlson Dairy Rd and Lewiston Rd before finishing in a lollipop style loop.

Keep an ear out, because this trail is occasionally used by mountain bikers. Though you may see cyclists, this route is most popular among people traveling on foot.

Flora & Fauna

Keep an eye out for the nesting Bald Eagles.

Artificial bank for mountain bikers. Most are man-made structures - bridges and boardwalks. Excellent maintenance.
