Description

The top of this trail intersects with the Humbug Trail near the Flume Trail intersection, and the bottom of this trail is 3-way intersection with the Big Ditch and Miners Trail and Flume Trail. You'll find that the Sidewinder Trail splits off about half way. Be ready for a constant climb or descent depending on which direction you choose to hike the trail - there is one steeper section near the intersection with Sidewinder Trail.

The trail surface is mostly hardpack. This one can get muddy with rain, but not as bad as lower trails in Greenhorn Park.

The trail and the park is open to the public and is multi-use, so be prepared to bump into hikers, dogs, bikes, and runners. The trail has some blind corners, so use caution and be courteous to others on the trail. Have fun!
