The first mile and a half is very steep and has lots of small rocks

Description

If you are looking to hike in Shenandoah National Park and don't want to pay the money to get in, then this is a trail for you. There is parking about 0.1 miles from the trailhead that can hold about 6-7 cars. At the top of the trail there is a overnight shelter with a spring, privy, bear pole, and additional campsites.
