Description

The Green Bear trail connects Green Mountain West Ridge to Bear Canyon Trail. This allows you to do some nice shuttled hikes, such as from Chautauqua to any South Boulder trailhead via Green Mountain.

When going from Green Mountain toward Bear Canyon Trail, the trail is consistently downhill. In either direction, it meanders through some nice switchbacks behind the Green/Bear ridgeline and feels less traveled than many of the other Open Space trails in Boulder.
