Features Views

Family Friendly The easiest way to the top of the Brothers Creek Area, with dappled with rewarding views through the trees.

Normally clear April to November.

Description

The trailhead can be found on Millstream Road. There is parking for about 5 vehicles at the trailhead and street parking on Millstream Road below. The trail follows an old logging cable railway bed and ascends quickly up the side of Cypress Mountain. The trail crosses the Skyline Trail after about 400m, then switches back and forth up the mountain.

About halfway up is a detour to the right that takes you to two giant fir trees, as well as the end of the old cable railway. Look for some rusted out equipment from the 1920's at the end of the detour. At the top of the climb, the trail leads either to the Brothers Creek Trail or up further to Blue Gentian and Lost Lakes.
