I'd call this Hike intermediate from either direction, from Charlotte lake, it's Rocky a bit more technical than Rae's lake side. But if you made it to Glen Pass it'll be a piece a cake and it's spectacular

Top of Kearsarge Pass looking West. Bullfrog lake in the back and Kearsarge lake is to the left of the photo. A beautiful and gradual climb for 4 miles. The last water is about a mile in.

Love Mt. Ralston, 90% dirt trail, lots of shade, well marked and maintained route. Lots of back for the buck on this hike a surprisingly spectacular view. You won't be disappointed.
