Notes:
This is a dirt and sand road driven by cars every day. You might enjoy biking it, but it's not a hiking trail.
|
|
Notes:
This "trail" is really dangerous up around the top. No trail bed, steep cross slope, loose, fine gravel, dangerous exposure, no other people.

I started at the bottom. Only saw two people the whole time. Trail was mostly not near the river and the forest canopy was thin.

This trail goes to Piedra River Hot Springs. It's a pretty, forested trail with a big beautiful camp site by the spring. Springs are very shallow.

This is the first trail you need to take to get to Piedra River Hot Spring.

Still 2' of snow. Microspikes for most of it, snowshoes for the upper, sunny parts. Lots of people were postholing. Main track never crossed creek.
