Very quick diversion on the trail. The trail Saigon's say 5 miles back to the visitors center - not correct, it's only 2. Cross the bridge and go for

Great bridge. Easy out to Whispering Cave. Trail sign is MIS-labeled - it's only 2 miles from the bridge to the visitors center, not 5.

Great trail just under 4 miles. Hikes like it’s about 2+ miles. Not steep. In good shape and easy to follow.

Notes:
Left at 7, good snow to top. Snow coming down was post hole heaven, even with snowshoes! Super slow going!

|
Notes:
This trail is nice and wooded with some areas of full sun, but much more shade. It has around 1500 steps up and 1500 down.

A bit longer than this map describes. Very steep at the top, for that I believe it's a black diamond. The first 2.5 miles is definitely blue/black.

Notes:
Very rocky and washed out, but effective to add to the Baxter Creek Trail if you have two cars or a drop-off/pick-up options.

Notes:
Pretty tough hike up. All up with very little flat relief. Good training and nice to combine with Mt. Sterling Trail if you have a pick up at the gap.

Notes:
Raining and windy. No visibility. It still good to hike!
