Keep your eyes peeled for snakes in the early evening. I almost stepped on this young Diamondback while setting up our tent. It is a long way to help if you get into trouble out here and there is no cell service!

The water was a bit low while we were there in July, but it was clear that wasn't alway the case.

This was an epic start to a trail! We also saw a number of Air Force jets (Including a blackbird!) fly past at we entered the canyon. Note: if you follow the trail north, way finding gets a little tricky. if you get to steep smooth rock, turn around.

Great hike! This photo is a little past the summit on the next obvious high point. It does require some exposed class 4 scrambling to get the where this photo was taken. If you aren't a confident climber, it's probably not worth it.
