Trails are closed sunset to 7am. The park is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
Need to Know
$25/vehicle/week fee is required to visit Chaco Culture National Historical Park. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6ft and may not enter archeological sites.
Description
From the trailhead across the park road from the Gallo Campground, take the trail past the boulders with a few petrolyphs to an old dirt service road after 0.1 miles. Turn left on the service road for 1.5 miles, then turn left 0.05 miles to access the Wijiji ruin.
On the east side of the ruin, the trail continues 0.3 miles to a petroglyph site beneath the cliffs.
