Family Friendly Easy pathway to a beautiful beach

Description

This trail begins at a large parking area for the beach on the east side of Highway 101, near the information kiosk and bathrooms. The trail begins as a paved path and crosses underneath the highway, making it a safe and easy route to the beach. The trail then follows the south side of Short Sand Creek for a short distance past a few properly gigantic old growth trees. After 0.3 miles, the trail crosses Short Sand Creek via a bridge and comes to a small picnic area with awesome views of the ocean and beach. Finally the trail drops down to the beach itself - have fun!
