Overview

This is a great trail that hikers often come to enjoy on the weekend. The 27km course starts from the Dong-Do Dam, crossing Ham-Lon Mountain, and ending at a campsite. At the end of the hike, you can swim in Dong-Do Lake.

Need to Know

Bring your swim stuff if you want to take a dip in Dong-Do Lake after your hike.

Description

The hike starts with 1 km of uphill, then about 8 km of up and down. You'll encounter three very high slopes before reaching the summit of Ham-Lon.

After descending about 4km, you'll descend to a lake campground. You can rest and fill up the water here, before continuing the 11 km journey to return to the starting point. At the end of your journey, you can take a dip in the blue water of Dong-Do Lake.

The course is very beautiful with lots of green trees. You can watch the town from the top of Ham-Lon, and watch the sunrise if you arrive early.
