Need to Know

This trail is fine, though sparsely blazed. However, as mentioned above, it ends near a beaver pond which is between you and the AT.

Description

The Shay Trail is an old woods road which heads uphill from Dimon Road to the base of the Kittatiny Ridge and the AT near the Brinks Shelter.

The trail is not well blazed, in fact at Dimon Road it is hard to see the start of trail blazes behind tree leaves. When on the trail, stay on the woods road, even if not blazed; do not take any side trails.

The trail ends at Brinks Road, a old woods road.
