The trailhead is at the top of the road that is the lower embankment boat launch, on the corner of Roosevelt and Indiana road. Park there and you'll see a sign with a map of the trail.

This is an easy trail to walk, run, or bike (horses are allowed on this trail too, so stay alert on the trail and respect other users) and there are amazing views of Lake Lowell, the Owyhees, and the Sawthooths.

There are a ton of birds around such as hawks and waterfowl. If you're lucky you might also see a deer.
