Description

This moderate elevation trail passes through pastures, forests, and streams.

The trail begins just past the Kula Forest Reserve boundary cattle guard on Waipoli Road. It descends via switchbacks to the lower boundary and proceeds southward to the junction of the Redwood Trail and the Plum Trail.

At the 2.6-mile mark it joins the Waiohuli Trail. The trail crosses gulches and through native scrub brush. The Boundary Trail offers excellent views of Kula and central Maui.

Be aware that you may encounter hunters who are hunting off the trail. Please stay on the trail.

Flora & Fauna

There are native trees and planted stands of eucalyptus, pines, and cedar trees. Stay on the trail!
