Description

From the park entrance, follow the dirt road to the right as it quickly turns south. Pass the cattle gate and proceed straight ahead toward the very steep ascent. Once up the first stretch, make sure to turn around to look across the Tri-Valley and see Mount Diablo. Continue further uphill and keep left at 0.35 miles. The higher you go, the better the views of San Ramon and the surrounding area become. The trail joins Redtail Hawk Trail at the end.
