Description

Christmas Tree does not have any of your typical christmas tree types growing along it, but that didn't stop locals from decorating the scrub oaks that do.
Off the left of Monte Carlo Trail, Christmas Tree Trail climbs steadily from start to finish. The beginning is tight and winding with lots of turns and dips over the multiple of rocks that make up the surface.
About 2/3's up the trail, it turns onto an old road. At this point, the majority of the climbing starts. That said, it's not overly steep.

As you near the top you'll make a few soft turns followed by a 90 degree right hand turn, followed by one last pitch. Once over this last pitch you'll be at the start of North Porcupine Trail and end of South Porcupine Trail. The choice is yours where you go from here!

Christmas Tree is a multi directional trail.
