Description

While it's possible to hike this trail as an out and back, it makes far more sense to use it as part of a larger loop.

It's a pretty mellow hike, with some steepish climbs to keep it interesting. There may be trees across the trail, at least until you get East of the Prairie Link Trail. The trail runs quite close to the creek, and there are often some very wet sections to contend with. Some sections of this trail have been rebuilt and rerouted over the years; at least 4 major reroutes in the last 20 years. The current version is smooth and rolling, not to mention a lot drier than it has been in the past.
