Description

The upper trailhead is the Palisade TH located just off of Mt. Lemmon Highway and the lower trailhead is a junction with East Fork Trail (#24A) which has no car access so if you are accessing the trail from this end, it will have to be combined with another trail and a shuttle or taken as an out-and-back.

When hiking from north to south, Pine Canyon is to the east and Palisade Canyon is to the west while on the trail. The trail starts in pines and then heads up through the scenic canyons, losing elevation as you go.
