This is a short trail from the trail junction with the Street Mountain Trail. Nye is considered a required ascent to join the 46'er club, although it is not over 4000 feet. It is designated as a separate mountain from Street because there is more than 0.5 miles between the two summits. The trail is not marked but easy to follow.

Along the way, expect the tread to be rocky and covered with roots, but not nearly as steep as its neighbor, Street Mountain. It's worth the extra time if you just made an ascent of Street, however, there is no view from the summit, only a sign that you have arrived.
