Description

This trail is fully paved, but will be extended over the course of the next several years.
There are sections of the trail with shade, mostly the south section and patches in the north section. This "urban" trail goes crosses several roadways with stop signs for pedestrians. This trail is kept free of debris and the surrounding grass is well maintained.

Flora & Fauna

There are maintained gardens along the trail. The south section features a mulberry tree and a creek. The north section has a connecting wildflower meadow with a mowed path.
Hikers can enjoy classic Iowa features on the trail, including a corn field.
