Description

From Red Pine Lake Trail, head to the south side of the lake. To the south there is a huge boulder field. The trail starts to get a bit more difficult to follow and the grade becomes very steep. The grade remains steep until you reach Upper Red Pine Lake.

Here the trail flattens out for about a 100 yards until you reach the next section that leads to a saddle. Once the ridgeline is reached, the trail becomes a scramble over and around large boulders until you reach the final steep section which heads straight up the side of the peak. This peak provides incredible views of the valley and other surrounding peaks.
