Description

The trailhead of this route is located at the visitor center. From the trailhead, there is a steep climb for the first 1.5 mile, followed by rolling hills. This is a gravel road along the south ridge of the park that connects to the Chestnut Trail at the southern end and the Azalea Trail at the northern end.
