Description

Hikers along this section of trail will want to stay on the Avalanche Trail which is more pleasant due to the lack of horse traffic and stays in the cooler section of forest. This trail is in the trees and rejoins back with the Avalanche Trail near the junction with the Johns Lake Loop trailhead.
