Description

As you leave the parking area, start going up the Providence Canyon road (just the dirt road that goes up the canyon) for less than a quarter of a mile and on the right (south) side of the road there is an easily visible start to the singletrack. It crosses a wooden bridge and then starts the singletrack trail that follows Spring Creek pretty closely for the first two miles or so.

The trail undulates as it follows the creek, sometimes being high above the creek and other times being right next to it. As the trail ascends, it weaves in and out of the woods and meadows that make up the bottom of Providence Canyon.

At the end of the trail, it emerges back onto the Providence Canyon road just below the quarry. You can turn around from here and enjoy the downhill!
