This trail can be accessed from the Wild Basin Trail, the Finch Lake Trailhead or from Allenspark Trail via County Hwy 90.

Most of the elevation is in the beginning portions of the trail, with less of an incline in the middle of the hike.

Easily passable until Finch Lake. Lots of patches of deep snow/ice with streams. Had to turn back just before Pear Lake. 4.9mi

Great out and back hike. We went via Finch Lake TH which added 2.2 mi. Lots of downed trees on the trail but shady & the lakes were beautiful!!
