Description

Hayburger Trail, named after the family that homesteaded in the park until the 1930s, is one of the most popular trail options at Elk Island National Park for a reason - easy hiking, good wildlife viewing, and passage through a variety of habitat types! You're almost certain to see plains bison hanging around this trail and possibly elk or moose! Enjoy the scenery of spruce bogs, aspen forest, and open meadows as you keep your eyes peeled for animals!
