Winter Hours (begin October 1): 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (exit gates close at 5 p.m.) Summer Hours (begin May 1): 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (exit gate closes at 4 p.m.) Expect shorter hours on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day; closed on Christmas Day. Entrance fee is $10 for 1 person in a vehicle, $20 for 2 to 4 persons in a vehicle.

Need to Know

Leashed dogs are allowed on trails, with the exception of the Windy Ridge and Bellota Trail loops. Aside from faucets in the restrooms at the ranch house, there are no potable water sources within the park. Bring plenty of drinking water with you.

Description

This trail connects the Arizona Trail (AZT) near a defunct windmill with the Firebreak Trail that leads to the Kannally Ranch House. The ranch is a reliable source of water along this passage of the AZT.
