Need to Know
You can park at Nickerson State Park for free from the dates November 1st to May 25th. However, from the dates May 26th to October 31st, parking for MA residents costs 5$, but non-MA, residents pay 20$. Free parking is at:
1.Cape Cod National Seashore at the Salt Pond Visitors Center in Eastham (1/2 mile from the Locust Road intersection with the trail)
2.Headwaters Drive in Harwich
3.National Seashore at Marconi Area
4.Orleans Center
5.Route 137 in Brewster
6.Trailhead at LeCount Hollow Road in South Wellfleet
7.Trailhead at Route 134 in South Dennis
8.Trailhead at Stations Avenue, South Yarmouth
Description
The terrain is very flat and there is little challenge in the trail, and a route from start to end one way takes around three hours.
