The rope up parts are three technical areas called "The Cat Walk", "The Crawl" and "The Chimney".
The Crawl is rated as a 5.3 technical climb.

This is the non managed "Climbers Trail" for Three Finger Jack. Follow the steep dusty track up to the ridgeline. From there, follow the ridgeline, or stay on the east side face until you come to the first buttress.

Next, scramble up the the west side face until you reach the saddle.
Here, you decide if you need to turn around or rope up to the summit.
