Description

Take this route from the end of Deception Pass Trail down a mild decline with excellent views of the Wall of Jericho, Zigadenus Lake, and Myosotis Lake to the west. You'll then enter a wooded section of trail until you reach Skoki Lodge ( skoki.com/) on the valley bottom. If this is your final destination - you've made it!

If not, feel free to stop by for afternoon tea between 1:30pm and 3pm ($5 CAD per item). Continue along the trail just a bit further, and you'll reach the Merlin Meadows campground. Beyond the campground you'll bear right up a hill and meander through thick forest interspersed with meadows until you reach the edge of Little Pipestone Creek. Short thereafter, you'll meet up with Red Deer Lakes Trail.
