Description

The corner of Lafferty Oaks Street and Autumnwood Drive is the southern entrance to the Hunting Bayou Hike and Bike Trail. This trail runs east parallel to Lafferty Oaks then crosses it at Centerwood Drive. It runs east in a utility corridor with no trees for about 1/2 mile before turning northeast in a well-shaded section to an at-grade crossing of Royale Drive. The trail ends at Maxey Road.

The safest way to reach Greens Access on the east side of Maxey Road is to use the pedestrian crossing at the traffic light to the north at Woodforest Blvd. There is sidewalk along both sides of Maxey Road.
