This trail is for winter use only when snow covered.
Description
From the north end of Forest Road 341, the trail follows Kendall
Farm Road eastward. In a short distance, the trail turns left (just before the field). It follows this road for approximately 0.5 miles, then turns left (into the woods).
Shortly, after passing by the spring, the trail enters the Green Mountain National Forest. It reaches a snowmobile trail and turns right. At Snowmobile Junction BN 33, the trail turns left. Pay close attention to where the trail turns right (off
Jenks). Here, the trail is poorly maintained and travels through a scramble of downed trees and overgrowth. It travels along a narrow corridor of the Green Mountain National Forest down to Route 30, where it turns left.
Turn off Route 30 onto French Hollow Road and then onto Upper French Hollow Road. Follow Upper French Hollow Road all the way past the last house, then follow the woods road. In another 0.1 miles, the trail crosses back into the Green Mountain National Forest. Here, the trail travels through the forest to Old Manchester Road. It continues a bit further until it reaches South Road, where this section ends.
