This trail is a mix of singletrack and doubletrack throughout. Along the way you'll see signs on your right for the other loops to hike in the preserve. When you turn east to go towards the lake, you'll hike through dense brush down the hill until you get to a small bench. This spot is excellent for seeing loons in the summertime.
