Need to Know

Enter either from Common Grounds High School, or from the Red Trail or Teal Trail in West Rock Ridge State Park. Note the trail route is difficult to understand from the zoomed-out state park maps and is easier to appreciate in the dedicated map provided by Common Grounds.

Description

Although partially overlapping with the West Rock Ridge trail system, this is a special one-mile loop built by the students and staff of Common Grounds High School as a recreation of a 1933 nature trail. Especially notable are the twenty plant/tree/geologic features marked with corresponding entries in the trail guide at live-cgftw.pantheonsite.io/… .
