This area is open year-round and no fees are charged for recreational use of Minnesota state forests other than camping.

Need to Know

This trail is a multi-use trail open to equestrians and hikers during the summer months. In winter, it is open to Nordic skiers but is primarily a snowmobile trail.

Description

This trail connects the main parking area with the Outer Loop Trail across a drainage, around a ridge, and past a patch of farmland. Along with the Sykes Trail, it can be used to create a short hiking loop from the parking area.
